Like any local worth its salt, The Black Horse pub in Tunbridge Wells is the beating heart of its community.
A popular meeting spot for local groups and community projects, and the perfect place for a good old catch-up - promising delicious drinks and a friendly game or two of pool.
Located just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, The Black Horse is home-from-home for many a local. Honest and unassuming, it’s a place of simple pleasures, with darts, dominoes and cards available.
There’s live action from BT Sport too, making this one of the best pubs in Tunbridge Wells for cheering on your team - and if you’re a fan of music, you’re well catered for here too. The Black Horse hosts regular live music sessions (soft rock is a favourite) every few weeks, and jam nights are held on the first Thursday of every month.
Friendly service. Real proper pub, with lots of seating, pool table, dart board and juke box. Incredible land ladies. Pub hosts a number of fantastic events. Definitely holds a place in my heart. Been going here for 15+years. Good disabled toilet.
A great pub with very friendly staff. Always assured of a warm welcome a well kept beer. Slightly lower prices than other places in the town. Fantastic band nights, local pool or just for a quiet drink. Different customer types so whatever your visit you do not feel out of place.
I have been going to The Black Horse for many years now and it is a lovely, friendly local. There is a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere every time I have visited which is perpetuated by the owners and staff. Thoroughly recommended!
